This is the famous Malabar Senior. Designed by John Alden as a performance cruiser and built 1956 in Holland by the famous Le Compte Yard. Named “Malabar Star” she is a true classic and has been well maintained. She has updated electronics; power provide by a 16hp Universal Diesel. She has a cold molded hull using African mahogany with fiberglass over, giving her the best of both types of construction.

Malabar Star has a traditional layout featuring 2 facing settees ahead of the galley. A 3 burner propane stove is the port and the sink and icebox to starboard. Numerous lockers and shelves throughout. A Dickinson propane heater is located on the forward starboard bulkhead.To port is the head all the way forward is a traditional v-berth. Headroom is approximately 6’2”.
